AUGUST 24, 2010

I can't lie! It feels like I have been trying to get my songs on the radio for an eternity and just like that I have had two releases to radio.  Bring it here to me did ok with some stations across the Country adding it.  Only you was released back in April and in the past two weeks I have managed to get my numbers into the 70's on the Country radio list and the numbers are still dropping.  Hard to believe that the second release has topped 100, let alone now in the 70's.  What an exhilarating feeling to hear one of the songs I recorded on numerous stations out there.  It has been a very busy few weeks doing 6 shows.  From opening for Little Texas back in June, to opening for Crystal Shewanda, Jason Blaine, Gord Bamford, Paul Brandt, Doc Walker, Lee Aaron and being brought on stage by a true Canadian Country boy Jason McCoy.  Riverfest was a blast as was a few shows at the local pubs and of course Kentville Street Fest which sold out of beer by 9pm.  Thank the lord I have friends with throw away cups and a mini bar behind the stage!  Thing will and are going to continue to get very busy for me. In two short weeks I head over to Edmonton to meet many people in the music business.  This is my first trip to the CCMAs and with a lot of praying and fingers crossed, next year I may be up for some Canadian Country Awards god willing.   I will be starting the grueling task of finding numerous gigs to play all over this beautiful earth in 2011.  I need to get more CDs made up and t - shirts because so many of you bought so much of my stuff this summer that I am very close to selling out of all of the merchandise.  I thank you all for the wonderful support and I hope you all sing along to the great songs on the CD.

Again this will be a busy year and I thank my two little boys for putting up with their daddies attitude as I work constantly.  You guys are the reason I must follow my dreams so in turn you both will.

Stick in my corner everyone, as fans are the only thing that make you succeed.  Please don't hesitate to be on the butts of those at the radio stations requesting to hear Kevin Davison.

cheers

KD!
